Available Now: Hundreds for Android!
Hundreds, a puzzle game built from growing circles, launched on Android worldwide on June 28, 2013. The date was chosen on purpose: Tau Day, a celebration of circles and the math behind them. Polygon covered the launch.
Semi Secret is an independent publication, not the studio that made these games; this page is an unofficial account written from the public record.
The launch
The game came to Google Play with the help of the studio's partners at Apportable, as its blog said a week later. In each puzzle you grow circles until their numbers add up to 100, and a growing circle that touches another ends the try.
The music
The launch post pointed to a remix album of the game's music on Bandcamp by Scott Morgan, who records as Loscil and worked on the game's sound.
What followed
About five weeks later, version 1.3 brought new features and fixes for the hidden Endless mode on iOS and Android, with a week at 40 percent off.
